OPPORTUNITY to become a Director on the Board of the Australian Coastal Society
This is a great opportunity for any member of the ACS who is keen to get involved in running the Society and contributing new ideas and input for new directions. In particular, the ACS is urgently seeking nominations for new Directors who are interested in taking on the roles of either Treasurer or Secretary. The ACS relies upon the active participation of members in the running of the organisation, particularly its Directors.
We know that everyone is busy, and we know that many of us have to manage potential conflicts between our various roles and responsibilities. If you would like to discuss any aspect of the role, please contact us. Being a member of the board gives you a direct role in shaping both the work of the organisation, and the future of the Australian coastal environment we all know and love. ACS is the peak multidisciplinary coastal advocacy group in Australia, and the work of the ACS has never been more important.
