High Tides of South Australia: Student Photography Competition
The SA Chapter of ACS along with the Centre for Coastal Research and Green Cross Australia are running a student photography competition, “High Tides of South Australia”. Brave the weather and head to your local beach be it metropolitan Adelaide, Pt Lincoln, Pt Augusta or Beachport and take a photo of the coast at high tide on April 21st or 22nd. Entries close at 5pm on May 1st, prizes include a Dolphin Watching Cruise and student membership to ACS. Further competition details can be found through the Centre’s Facebook page or website.
SA State Coastal Conference 2015
The ACS SA chapter is the main convener of the South Australian Coastal Conference to be held 12 – 13 November 2015 at the Adelaide Sailing Club, West Beach SA. Further information on registration and abstracts will be communicated in the coming months so watch this space!
