About the Position The City Assets branch is looking for a suitable candidate who will be required to operate as aSenior Project Manager (Coastal), to support the business in undertaking capital and operational multi-disciplinary projects, assuming full responsibility and accountability for successful delivery. About You The ideal candidate will need to possess extensive experiencing in leading and delivering large scale programs within the coastal engineering discipline including methodology and theory, implementation and project management. Selection criteria | Essential: Do you hold a qualification in coastal engineering? Desirable: Do you possess high level project management skills with the ability to develop, administer, manage and co-ordinate complex policies, programs, projects and resources effectively to achieve work goals to meet deadlines and commitments. If so, please provide details. Desirable: Do you have demonstrated experience leading complex and multi-faceted engagement programs and capacity to influence and manage challenging issues? Essential: Do you hold a current ‘C’ class licence? Desirable: Please provide examples of projects you have worked on where you have had to utilise your knowledge of coastal morphodynamics and/or relevant coastal policies and legislation to secure a positive project outcome. Desirable: Please outline your communication, consultation and negotiation skills to ensure positive project outcomes are delivered. |
